Early Learning

Our Program Plan and literacy programs are inspired by the FLIGHT curriculum ( https://www.flightframework.ca/)  

Preschool (3-4 years) and Pre Kindergarten (4 to pre KG) 

We use resources like

The Star Brite Pre-School curriculum of our pre school class rooms and

The Canadian Curriculum guide for our Pre-kinder class rooms 

The program planning in these two age groups is specially designed to prepare the children in our care to get ready for school and include 

Literacy and Language, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies and Arts.

Circle and  Learning Times are part of our daily schedules in all rooms.

Our staff is paid for programming time away from being in ratios and designs the programs as per the interests of the children in their care.

We encourage children to be part of the planning process of  monthly themes and activities.

Every week, the children explore different topics through hands-on and interactive activities in the class rooms. 

Infants and Toddlers :

Infants and toddlers learn, speak, behave, and move (like crawling, walking, or jumping) and reach milestones through play.

In their early years they learn to focus their vision, reach out, explore, and learn about the things that are around them.

Our qualified staff designs the programs using high-interest books, stories, songs, poems, and chants that amuse and delight infants and toddlers.

The activity choices are fun with physical challenges, action songs, and games that help them build coordination, balance, and muscle strength.
